Synagogue Beit Israel is in San Salvador, El Salvador, Central America.

Beit Israel Congregation was formed in 2013 to support the local and tourism Jewish community.

As of 2024, 70 families are members of the congregation. This number was higher than 100 a few years ago but has declined due to community members making aliyah to Israel.

The community has pray services Monday and Thursday and on Shabbat / chagim, a mikvah, and a mini kosher supermarket open Sunday through Friday afternoon.

The community is working on developing year-round learning programs and education programs to support the local communities.

What Is *JOFY?

JOFY, or "Jewish Observant Friendly" Establishments, offers special services for Jewish observant guests, such as Shabbat meals, accommodation on lower floors, and regular room keys.
